10 Year More Scientists Can "Create" Human brain

LONDON - Scientists will be able to create artificial human brain in ten years. This artificial brain will be very helpful in diagnose and treat patients of brain disturbances.

This is expressed by Professor Henry Markram at the TED conference on the scientists Oxford University. Markram says, this optimism come considering he and his team have successfully conducted experiments on mice with an important element of the rodent brain.

"The success of the rat brain elements of confidence that the cause may not in 10 years we will be able to create artificial human brain," says Markram, as quoted from the Telegraph, Friday (24/7/2009).

Markram Prof. joined in this research project, said the simulation is now the brain is not sophisticated enough to find the right method of therapy for people with brain and psychiatric diseases.

"There is as much the two billion people on the planet who have a mental illness aberration. This new technology will provide a view to finding new methods of therapy of brain diseases is very appropriate," go Markram.

According to the explanation Markram, technology, this device requires a computer to process data from a single nerve. This means that tens of thousands of machines required to begin mapping the human brain is very complex.

Thus, scientists who joined in this project using the "super computer", a machine that is able to accommodate millions of algorithms and data at a time to this process is effective.
