The Technology Education according to the experts

In a modern educational institution at the time now, certainly a time of change and the more complex changes systematically, then an educational institution will follow the way, this is not detached from the products of education itself, for example, only the results from the creation of an education a sophisticated tool. Faculties of education for students of course have to understand such things. Subjects in the educational technology course, theoretically already understand, the following have some understanding of technology education according to the experts:

Comission on Instructional Technology, 1970:
A systematic way of designing, implementing, and evaluating the total process of of learning and teaching in terms of specific objectives, based on research in human learning and communication and employing a combination of human and non human resources to bring about more effective instruction.

Thus, the concept is the main goal is to make the learning technology so that a more effective learning. How can it be done? Way design, implement and evaluate systematically based on the theory of communication and learning, and utilize all resources that are both human and non-human. as such, since the 1970s, there has been a view that the human (in this case teachers) is not the only source of learning.

AECT (2004):
Educational technology is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.

This is the latest definition, which states that technology education is the study and ethical practice in an effort to facilitate learning and improve performance in a way to create, use / utilize, and manage the process and sources of appropriate technology. Clearly, the main goal is still to facilitate the learning process (to be effective, efficient and attractive) and better performance.
