How to Play Tennis | Beginners Technique

How to Play Tennis | Beginners Technic

Here I will try to explain the basic techniques of playing tennis for you, if you are a beginner and wanted how to try playing tennis with the right. I combine writing this from some references that I can, hopefully easier for you to follow.

Grip (Handle Racket)

I chose to discuss this because it is often a new player or have never played tennis at all stuck on the basic error in holding the racket. I saw this most likely caused by Indonesia's most distant known badminton as the most popular sport played in Indonesia, so often adopted badminton racket handle.

Badminton racket grip tends to be in the middle of the handle, while the courts tend to be at the end of the handle of the racket. Examples can be seen in the picture below:

Grips

Next we review some of the grip or handle of a tennis racket in the game.
1. Continental forehand grip

This is continental classic grip has always been used by tennis players as the ancient wooden rackets were used. Right hand position on the racket handle and the base of the finger position in the corner of 1 (for right hand players) or the angle 4 (for left-handed players).

Modern pros that are recorded are still using this type was previously Stefan Edberg and John McEnroe is. This is very good grip used on the surface of a fast field, such as grass, and is used by the player with the type of game 'Service Volley'. Currently there is not much use as a type continental forehand grip mainly because of the tempo of the game faster with the ball spinning (spin).

Minus this grip is only used to blow a horizontal (flat) and cut (slice), whereas for the spin a little difficult blow. Players who use this grip is also often difficult to face top balls that spin is a bit inflated parabolic. However, the continental grip is the grip is the standard for service and also to punch volley and overhead for steady hands gripped the racket.

2. Eastern forehand grip

The grip of the most easily applied beginner tennis player. Grip is often referred to as a 'grip shake hands'. You can try to start the handle of the racket neck, such as shaking hands, then down to the end of the handle of the racket. The position of the base of the index finger tends to be on the right side (for right hand players) or the left (for left-handed players).

The handle of this type can provide a full variety of shots, be it flat, slice, or spin. Choice of grip is perfect for players who often rely on volleyball game in front of the net because you can easily and quickly adjust the grip to punch volley into the net. But minus the handle is once again a little difficult to deal with topspin balls which are parabolic.

One player who ruled the tennis pro at 90'an year, namely Pete Sampras, use this grip as a choice because he is a typical service Volleyball player who is very comfortable using this grip.
