[Palo Alto Plane Crash] Fire officials in Northern California say three people have died after a small Palo Alto Plane Crash into a residential neighborhood.

Menlo Park Fire Chief Harold Schapelhouman says the blazes are now under control, and there have been no immediate reports of injury on the ground. The Federal Aviation Administration says the Cessna 310 crashed shortly after takeoff from the Palo Alto Airport. The crash site is just northwest of the airport.
Schapelhouman says the plane broke apart after clipping a power transmission line. He says a wing fell onto one house and the rest of the plane struck the retaining wall of another house down the street. Residents are reporting power outages in the area.
