When is Presidents Day? The third Monday in February of former president Honoring all Americans. (also called the Presidents Day).

History And Festivals in the past
George Washington was born on February 22, 1732. According to the calendar we use today. But according to the old calendar time, day of birth falls on February 11. He leads and encouraging the soldiers who have not experienced in dealing with British soldiers during the 8 years until the colonies they can gain independence. He served as president of America in 1789-1997 and known as the Father intimately State.

When he was still alive, Americans celebrated his birthday in 1796 on the 11th, and some of them celebrated on the 12th. Until the year 1971, dated February 22 is celebrated as National Public Holidays. In addition, the birthday of Abraham Lincoln (see Lincoln's birthday), president during the civil war years of 1861-1965, regarded as a public holiday in many American states. In 1971 President Richard Nixon announced that to honor all former American presidents, the third Monday in February is celebrated as the day of the President.
